TOPIC: Welcoming visitors at schoolThe target is to Writie a guide/brochure of English expressions for students at CEPA Bernal to communicate with the Swedish teachers and students on Erasmus+projects that visit our school every year.
CONTENTS:
Subtopics.
1. Personal Information.
2. Our school/Education.
3. Sweden vs Spain
4. What to do in Medina.
Driving question:
How can we help our schoolmates when meeting face-to-face with our Swedish visitors?
VOCABULARY: I hand out a copy of vocabulary on the four subtopics.
COOPERATIVE TECHNIQUES:
Firstly, I assign a topic to each group (once group organization is done) , then the time comes for reflection with Think Pair Share, each individual does some brainstorming and jots down all the ideas coming to mind about the subject.
The student pairs up wiht another and discusses his/her ideas and listens to the ideas of his/her partner.
When prompted they share their ideas with the group and the class. Normally some guiding from the teacher is needed//Jigsaw.
Setting a specific task to each student in the group, then they come back to the group and share their information,, teaching their partners what they´ve learnt.
