4. Some cooperative techniques I would include.

 Time pair share: In pairs, students share ideas with a classmate for a predetermined time while the classmate listens. Then they switch roles. (Kagan & Kagan, 2009)  Round robin In teams, students take turns responding orally to the questions the teacher asks. (Kagan & Kagan, 2009)  Think-Write-Pair Share In teams, students write or draw their ideas before they pair up to discuss them with a partner. This allows students to fully develop their ideas before sharing.  Teammates consult In teams, students discuss an answer and nobody writes it down until all of them agree.  Team project The teacher clearly explains the project and the number of times teams have to complete it.

The teacher assigns roles: materials manager, reporter, timekeeper, captain…After distributing the materials, teams work to complete the task.

The teacher monitors students.

Teams share their project with the class.
