In my project

1.THE TOPIC is "CLIMATE WARMING". Before starting with the contents, the students will write 3 questions in their notebook. At the end of the project , they will realize what they have learned: -what I know - What I wonder -What I learned. 2. CONTENTS
: I see the unit as a whole and divide it in four subtopics.
a) WARMING CLIMATE REASONS. We watch a video in you tube about the consequences of global warming.



b) DEFORESTATION
We watch a video about the problem of Deforestation.


c) THE IMPORTANCE OF REDUCING THE COMSUMPTION OF SHEETS OF PAPER AND CLOTHES
They work in groups giving ideas about the topic.
d) REAL THINGS THAT TEENS CAN DO TO REDUCE THEIR FOOTPRINT ON EARTH. They work in groups giving ideas and preparing the photos. 3. DRIVING QUESTION:

  • WHAT CAN WE DO TO REDUCE THE WARMING CLIMATE?

4. COOPERATIVE TECHNIQUES:

In my project the students will take an active part. First they will take or look for some stunning photos about the real consequences of global warming in parks,cities, oceans,forests... later they will place the photos in the corridors of the high school to raise awareness about the importance of recycling paper and used chothes

5. PRODUCT:

Finally, We will contact the neighborhood schools so that my students will give a talk to the children to raise awareness of the problem of global warming and the importance of recycling.
